FOOD RESOURCES:

My Brothers Table - The pantry is open once a month, usually on a Thursday from 9 - 11.  Fresh meat and fruit is available every month and packaged/canned food from the pantry. Sudbury Food Pantry - Lady of Fatima Church 160 Concord Road, Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30 am - 2:15 pm. Wayland residents are free to visit the pantry once a month. Registration is required on the first visit and proof of residency. Food staples, bread, eggs, dairy, frozen meat, paper products, baby foods and soap products are available. In the summer fresh organic vegetables.A Place to Turn - an emergency food pantry. Diapers also available. 99 Hartford Street, Natick 508-655-8868. Referral form, photo ID and address verification required. Visits once every 60 days available.

Open Table - The pantry service is by appointment. Proof of date of birth and current residency for all family members who would like food assistance is needed.

Meals on Wheels: Meals on Wheels in Wayland is administered by Baypath Elder Services. The Wayland COA 508-358-2990, provides the volunteers who deliver the meals. To inquire about receiving home-delivered meals, call Baypath at 508-573-7246.

PROPERTY TAX RELIEF

HEALTH SERVICES

Medicare: Call the COA for 65 and over, to make a free appointment with a SHINE Counselor, who can review your health insurance options and advise you. You can learn more about SHINE here. 508-358-2990.

Home Care: The COA cannot recommend specific organizations or individuals who provide home-based services. But we can talk with you about things to look for and options to consider.   • SCSEP (Senior Community Service Employment Program): SCSEP provides assessment, skills training, temporary, part-time job placement for unemployed older (55+) unemployed workers. Contact Operation Able at 617-542-4180.
